About Us
The Diverse Creative CIC (TDC) is a community interest company that was founded in 2017 with the aim of supporting disabled people to access relevant skills training, business and personal finance programmes, disability assessments, coaching and other forms of support. Our mission is to end the stigma around disability and create inclusive spaces that nurture empowerment and strength. We are committed to demonstrating how an inclusive culture is integral to a progressive society.
What We Do
At TDC, we offer efficient and effective solutions to help disabled individuals achieve financial security. Our programmes are designed to address the marginalisation that disabled people face within current systems and structures of employment, entrepreneurship and barriers to financial wellbeing. Our multifaceted approach reflects the needs of individuals at different stages of their lives. Our programmes currently include screening services, financial literacy education, entrepreneurship, coaching and mentoring, and hybrid community spaces for people to provide support and learning while navigating the world as disabled people.
Who We Support
Although our work supports the disabled community at large, we prioritise disabled people who are racialised, recognising the multiple intersecting marginalisations that are often unaddressed.
Our Philosophy
We believe that everyone should have an equal opportunity and access to help reach their full potential, regardless of any disability they may have. Our company is based on the belief that ending the stigma around disability is crucial to creating a more inclusive society. We strive to
raise awareness within local communities and organisations and create inclusive spaces that nurture empowerment and strength.
